FPV Kamikaze Drone

Good concept
its a fun cheap game but there is lots to improve: (My suggestions)
1: add defensive/offensive missions (where your allies are storming positions/are being stormed and you need to take out enemy vehicles/infantry to support them)
2: make every replay slighly different from the last one (different placements of vehicles, and maybe change the vehicles slightly each time. For example two tanks compared to one tank one IFV)
3: add 'stars' or something of that sort to indicate how good you completed the level (three stars perfect, exc)
4: custom level designer where you can make your own levels/play the levels of others
5: online 1v1 battles such as: races, time trial (who can beat a level the fastest/least amount of drones used)
6: statistics tab (where you can see how many drones you used, levels completed, most played level, kills, exc)

its still a great game but this would make it next level

Very excited to play this game but it freezes when loading missions. Will change review if/when this issue is resolved but I wouldn't recommend buying this until it gets a patch. Such a fun premise though! Can't wait!

Insane game, cant wait for updates. Kind of sad and eerie when you think this stuff is happening IRL. You could record some of this stuff and show it to an uneducated person and they would believe its real.

Great game, it would be cool if there would be a thermal camera or something to better see where are the enemys. There probably will be in the future but new drones have to be dropped in the game. Also it would be cool if you could move the drones camera and have a tutorial how to use the grenade drone. Thats all, overall great game.

every time i use the striker drone (i use the ps4 dualshock controller) and i wanna drop a bomb it says "background lightning off/on" it still drops the bomb but its kindy getting me mad. pls comment if you know a fix

The game is in development (0.2.1.1f) and I would like to admit - those $2 worth it.

The game was challenging for absolute fpv noobie like myself and I started with simple drone and switched to fpv later. It took me 3-4 hours to get used to FPV acro mode.

1) You need a controller to play (switch pro in my case)
2) There are 2 types of drones in the game
3) there are only 2 really missions there:
first with tank, 3 APC, 2 tracks, and infantry
second with artillery.
rest with infantry - boring

Considering its early stage, price and fun I would rate this 5/5 my starts.

Capable of dropping various explosives, including regular and contact grenades, possibly even flash grenades.
Ability to drop grenades into open tank hatches.
Custom Mission and Scenario Creation

Players can create their own mission scenarios, choosing the type, quantity, and direction of equipment/troops.
Option for random AI behavior and automated convoy creation with a set path and actions.
Additional Features

Thermal imaging.
Night vision.
Drone altitude counter.
Horizontal drone tilt indicator.
Different drone HUDs based on model or type.

At the moment its very bare bones with nothing much to do. I'd recommend waiting until it gets some updates that add content, the game has BIG potential. Leave politics out of the game and just enjoy it

This game is honestly really fun for the 2$ price tag it is very barebones right now and kind of confusing at first to figure out how to work the drone.(please add a tutorial that teaches you how to fly) But for what it is I would say it's worth a try if you don't have anything to do for a bit. There is only a couple of missions ranging from destroying APCs to finding where infantry are hiding out in the trenches, and one mission where you have to fly into a building to kill the people on the inside. I am very excited with the new update being worked on allowing to choose different ammunition types and a more updated ai for the infantry(right now of this review they only just run around a set pathing from what I have seen) maybe in the future they will add dismemberment to the infantry. Long story short it's pretty fun for what it is give it a try if you have 2$ worst things worse you just refund it.

These developers have clearly reached their targeted demographic here, but for 2 bucks I think that I can tolerate that most of the people that play this game want to kill me and my family, but who cares cause holy sh!t is this game fun.

Very fun, drone mechanics are actually really good entirely worth the 2$, are only about 6 missions one being essentially an open match fly with no enemy's still fun to mess around on, if they added an update where you could blow it up remotely that'd be even cooler, make a machine gun drone maybe? just thought's good game tho.

This game is so worth it and more so since they added a dropper drone and more warhead types and great redos to the maps, my xbox controller works great, the game is a great time killer and fun to mess around in like doing tricks in the FPV or being kobe with the dropper and yeating that thing and getting a nice kill,

Fun game, missions didnt load and game would crash. I just set the game quality to low and it all worked. Its also fun that the infantry also tries to shoot at you. Cant wait to see some more missions, could use one with moving targets.

absolutly love the game but it didnt work on my first laptop so i swithed to my PC and it works on it, I just hope it gets more levels then 5 bicouse I commpleted them in half an hour. Def recomend it.

I don't know if it's true but one of the comments said there is a trojan in the game files.
What I do know is my pc far exceeds the recommended system requirements and every time I tried to play a mission I got a fatal error. Once it forced my pc to restart. Do not buy.

controls are really good. if it gets workshop it will be awesome the potential is already there.
it just needs a little more polish and more levels but for 3$ i think its a steal.

Would be good if they allowed workshop maps, not a dang thing to do. Didn't even utilize the roads to add...uh oh I dunno...vehicles moving on them? :0 maybe like the spurg apc driving in circles in the field

giving freedom of controller button binding would be great, same as keybinding on keyboards. also I recommend movement replay video to show what single/multiple action does each key perform.

+ decent graphic and good map details
+ the game is running well and smooth
+ captures brutality of war
+ good buildings and props
+ good entity details (APC, infantry)
+ tutorials is available though it doesn't teach you anything it lets you fly around as much as you like
+ good physics
+ available for mouse and keyboard, and also controller gameplay
+ simple UI, easy to use (would be good if custom UI/ filter are also available)

- lack freedom of controller bindings / incomplete setting and UI development
- default keybindings are as painful as it gets
- AI infantry are silly but smart enough to dodge and run away from grenades/shooting drones
- Automated artillery can shoot just by itself without anyone operating or loading
- controller only works on drone gameplay but not on the game UI/menu/settings
- only few a handful of maps to play in early access
- the AI infantry/APC lack animations and are not very lifelike

Pretty good physics.
I fly fpv quads in real life and the only thing thats bugging me is, that I cannot set up my rates (the sensivity) as I would like to. I had to program some special expos in my radio controller in order for the ingame quad to react properly.
Whatever this is supposed to really be - it really has got some potential

for two bucks its worth the price. its in early access so keep in mind that its a little sparse right now, but the groundwork is there.
a brief description on the ammo types and what they do would be nice. maybe add an endless mode where infantry and armor spawns in waves instead of knocking out like 7 people with one explosion

Genuinely tons of potential, it just needs to be reached. If a workshop could be created that would be insanely cool. I would love to play as a drone operator in Sudan or even just be able to play custom missions. Another cool aspect could be actual battles between AI. Tons of potential and so far is looking very good

Amazing cant hate for the price i just really hope more maps, drones, and bombs come out hint:nuke :) its pretty fun asf at first the controls feel hard but after 15 mins i got the hang of it and within the hour finished all missions

I bought 5 copies for friends just to support the development of this game. Absolutely awesome and I have been waiting for some kind of game to either incorporate kamikaze drones or a game about them and this game delivers on that big time. For a 2 dollar game the amount of fun I've had on this is actually criminal. Volumetric dust effects and pretty good explosion VFX in general really add to the immersion. The filter on the camera is perfect and the controls are a bit snappy but overall were easy to tune and now I'm an ace pilot bobbing and weaving through the foliage to slam a fragmentation warhead into some poor ukrainian dairy farmer hiding in a trench.

There is only one thing that would do justice to this game and that is a steam workshop and full modding support. Clearly the dev/devs of this game are not able to produce the content that we are all so hungry for at the rate we want it. So why not open the flood gates and relieve yourselves as developers of the duty to create content? You could not imagine the amount of high quality mods/missions that would be released for this game within hours or days. I have already been imagining different scenarios and map styles that I could create and publish. For a game like this it is so important to allow the community to contribute to it's development and library of content so that well beyond the time it stops receiving all updates the game will still have fresh meat being published so long as people are playing it. FREE THE PLEBS!

This game is basically a tech demo, so i cannot speak on anything currently in it as its definitely subject to change, but it has a *lot* of potential.

Really the only thing away from making this an instant success is a map editor and just generally more content/attention to detail [Like, why's there a random Stryker drifting around in a field lmao] which im sure the devs know already, the second more types of drones are added [Please add fixed-wing drones i beg of you] people are gonna use this to fake *so much* war footage and thats a compliment.

If it was anything higher than 3 bucks, I'd say no. You can currently finish all 4 or 5 missions in less than an hour, mess around in the training yard and then refund the game. However, I could see the potential of a fully fledged game being developed around using FPV drones in order to change a battle field. I'd like to see less brain dead AI, friendly AI and of course a lot more missions.

A minor amount of plot would also go a long way. It currently feels like a half baked demo but the optimism in me can see the potential.

Doesn't work with my drone's cheap radio and doesn't control like my cheap drone, but after a little practice on the Xbox controller I was vaporizing dudes and equipment.
Pretty fun; just hoping for more missions.

this game is actually a friggin blast! its not alot of content but its early access so its alright. hope this game eventually adds in a drone that drops grenades downwards ethier with a timed (like the russian f-1) or a direct impact (like the vog). if the dev needs any help researching things like videos of combat footage, information about drones, or their explosives or even certain other combat aspects please reach me on my steam profile!

Playing the game causes severe eye strain - I have played it for 18 minutes and I am in *quite some pain*. I appreciate that this happens to RL FPV pilots but since I am not in military training I am not playing games to be hurt.

SO AMAZING, ALTHOUGH NEEDS MORE MISSIONS, AND THE VEHICLE PHYSICS SOME TIMES ARE CLUNKY, FOR AN EXAMPLE (sorry caps) when the striker gets flipped, the fire is upside down. And most definetly add more infantry soldiers to the missions

update: the new update a day after my review fixed one issue but the controls and sensitivity settings are still really scuffed like lowering the sensitivity in controls actually increases it and it has really jolty responses when you lower the sensitivity, please try to add some beta flight implementation so we can use our rates or something that is my only complaint right now.

"bad when using actual radio transmitter, only optimized for controller and mouse+keyboard? roll, pitch, and yaw only register when at the very end of your gimbals movement so the rates feel way too slow no matter how much i change the controls settings in the game. the auto calibrate feature might be the issue but again idk since i see the stick movements showing in the controls area of settings idk, i do like the inertia because of the payload though and the maps are laid out well."

seems like a good game with a lot of potential only problem is it is very had to control the drone, would love to be able to play but it is almost impossible to control the drone either on keyboard or controller. this may be a glitch just for me though and the game definitely has potential so this is why im giving it a thumbs up, hey its 2 bucks why not try it theres not much to lose lol

very fun game to play if you just need to relax. The controls are very simple but still very realistic. The only downside so far is, that it only has a few levels but considering its still in developement i dont think that thats a problem and hope for the future updates to improve the game and make it even better then it already is. Big FAN 9.5/10

Wow! This is a very nice simulation of the FPV drone weapon! Since I follow the war closely, I always wondered what it would be like being the pilot for this weaponized FPV drone and it does not disappoint. The point of view looks just like what you see in those brutal FPV killer drone videos. Coupled with a Mode 2 RC controller, this feels just like flying any FPV drone. As I fly real drones myself, this simulator gives a satisfying feel when you hit the target right in the center. It is potentially a great training tool for future drone pilots or even AI pilots.

Update after playing another 3 hours, this is still a very fun game. I played it mostly on my real RC controller and it gives a better feel than compared with playing with keyboard and mouse. I just tried playing on a PS4 controller and it works really well, but the throttle control could be better if there curves control available. The last mission hunting soldiers in the building is extremely difficult especially soldiers hiding in the rooms. Their metal barricaded windows seems indestructible, though I managed to kill one soldier standing too near the window. The destruction mechanics, like wall destruction or windows could be added in future iterations and this will make it more fun. As this is early access and for the very low price, this is still a highly recommended simulator trainer. As unfortunate as this will most likely be used to train future killer drone pilots, as a game it is still fun to play. I recommend adding other simulations like the American Switch Blade Kamikaze drone or grenade dropping like what another reviewer suggested. Highly recommended!

Who knew this would make out to be such a fun game! I've seen hundreds of hours of combat drone footage over the past year and this game matches it perfectly. The environments, the scenarios, the feel. Chef's kiss. It's still early access and there's a couple of things I'd like to see.

1. Add a hold altitude function. This would greatly improve the flying through building windows and just assessing and reconnaissance function.
2. Make the later missions longer with more objectives. These maps are huge and can be expanded a bit.
3. Adding the mortar dropping drones as well would be cool.
4. We need some intense Eastern European electronica music as an overlay to turn on and off.

FPV Kamikaze Drone simulator is still in early access, however it is a good start.

Firstly the good:
- Realistic gameplay
- A challenging experience
- Fairly good graphics
- Solid damage models

Next, what needs improvement (none of these are necessarily negative, but would need work for final release):
- There is a lack of content (as expected for a new game like this)
- The damage models are good, but needs improvement
- The gameplay is lacks some variety
- The graphics aren't the best, but aren't the worst

Finally, what I think could help make this a very good game:
- Improvement on damage models, mainly by taking into account shrapnel damage on infantry, and the addition of damage on specific parts on vehicles (similar to, if not less complicated than, War Thunder's damage models)

- Additional gameplay types, such as using drone dropped grenades or even UCAVs like the TB-2 or similar variants

- Additional mission types, such as repelling enemy attacks while trying to avoid friendly casualties, attacking troop/vehicle columns, and supporting friendly troops as they advance on targets. It would be best if there were open style missions like already included, and more planned missions with more clear objectives.

- More varied vehicles, such as adding MBTs like the T-72, T-90, and Leopard 2, with varied armor types like cage/slat armor or ERA

- Improved AI, with infantry taking cover after a drone strike, infantry shooting at your drone, some infantry being injured instead of instantly KIA, and infantry mounted on IFVs that dismount upon attack

- Statistic tracking, allowing you to view your stats along with including percentage based success during missions

Things such as that could make this game more realistic and more engaging. But even without it, this game is already well put together and is 100% a hidden gem. I can see the full release version being even better, and I think this will become a very interesting insight on how modern warfare has evolved with the addition of drones.

TL;DR
The game is good, its a bit bare bones but will see future content, and even now, I would recommend it, especially for the price of $1.99

Could be named "Modern Warfare". Getting closer to the whole "Ender's Game" thing one step at a time. Chasing the APC driving around in the first mission really had the feel of one of late summer of 2023 videos.

Great telegram simulator.
At only $2.59 I can't complain about the small amount of levels though it would be awesome if the units were randomly placed. The last headquarters level was way too tough for me to beat, fitting through a door or window is brutal. Maybe my sensitivity is too high but I want it to be accurate so I didn't change that.
Could use more detailed trenches perhaps they sometimes have junk around and more cover like deeper holes.
Very good challenge to hit them in trenches, much harder than it looks so this is a good simulator for WW3 practice. Saw myself improve quite a lot.
Hopefully I can put my hours on this on a resume to not be sent into the front line trenches! Make me drone operator instead!

This is a game very close to modern warfare, although the graphics quality is very rough. But it sparked a lot of interest. But compared to DCL’s simulator, the training mode is lacking. It is very unfriendly to players who are not good at controller control and lacks game tips. Several scenes should be added to the training map to train control methods. Hope to see better updates in the future. Recommended, the price is only a bottle of drink, you have nothing to lose.

Pretty fun and intuitive. Drone feels realistic and handles well (feels like I am operating a drone with an RPG on it, which makes sense). The maps are great and the variety of enemies are good - very promising game! I look forward to updates regarding maps, drones, and enemy behavior.

Game about killing Ukrainians, developed by russian, while full-scale war going on right now. Steam should ban it asap.
Its not even a game, 6 locations and few props putted together. Dont buy it, dont let it develop further.

The game implies killing Ukrainians using FPV-drone (Ukrainians currently use yellow tape on their arms during russo-ukrainian war that’s going on right now). The game provokes and encourages violence towards Ukrainians.and the game supports fpv controllers so it can be used as a trainer for russian soldiers to learn how to control a drone and kill Ukrainians in the war russia started. The product like this should not be available on Steam, please consider deleting it.

overall is GOOD. this game give different experience for player.

one point from me, maybe before the game start we should know what we gonna do. i mean show the mission in loading screen or notification before fly.

Проблема с оптимизацией. И дело не в том, что не тянет или ФПС плохой, а в том, что при высоких настройках и ограничителе в 60 кадров у меня сильно греется видеокарта RTX 3050 ti, как не греется в скваде (та ещё пapaшa по оптимизации) или киберпанке. И при этом, нагрузку показывает 3 - 5%. Исправьте пожалуйста. В остальном игруха классная, цена демократичная. Ждём обновлений!

Bobr/Sudaplatov simulator. Precision and coordination is crucial. The game is better with a controller.
Some additional missions and vehicles like the Leopard and Challenger tanks would be nice. Perhaps some Lancet use as well.

Контента пока мало, игровые механники еще весьма условные, но геймплей уже очень доставляет!
Очень увлекательный процесс. Сначала тяжело, но потом привыкаешь и затягивает.

4/5 of my hours are on the home screen trying to make it so that my controller connects to the game. 30 minutes of the 1 hour of my gameplay is me being irritated about how for some mysterous reason, my controller suddenly disconnects from the game and my mouse is in control. (defantly not a hardware issue! a game issue for sure!)
