Of all the HOG games available from "developer" Hede this is by far the worst. Once again - similar to Hidden Town - we have a file size of more than 7 gigabytes, yet, interestingly, the level here consists of a small picture only. Due to the dimensions zooming doesn't really make any sense - which, by the way, is only possible with the use of a bar at the top instead of using the mouse wheel.
As usual, we have a dropdown that puts the camera back to the center (other selections have the same result so it makes no sense). The music is identical to other HOG games (nowhere near as pleasant as the store page video indicates) and while in other instances under settings I managed to find a working language selection feature, here you only see the languages available (probably all in existence) but changing it still shows menu texts in English.
As indicated by the title every hidden object is a flower - the picture in the upper left corner shows what you need to look for but it isn't much of a help as the flowers look slightly different or positioned in a different way. Going through the game will involve lots of unnecessary clicking just like in the rest of the HOG titles by Hede. And remember: these games are almost at 100 EUR but now (and regularly) they enjoy a 90% discount. The last time this was under 1 EUR was more than a year ago.
I was looking forward to playing this HOG till I realised it was another infamously bugged Hede Game offering. As with all the others I have tried to play it was stupendously fundamentally bugged. All the Hede Games seem to suffer from the same irritating errors in calculation and computation. The most galling are the frequent returns to a nearly blank screen as the game decides to randomly reset your progress and the miscalculated items found score which leads to a Game End screen well before you have found all the items. I fail to see how this could be an intended part of the overall game play experience!
Added to those issues are all the ones I have previously outlined in the past 3 games from Hede I have attempted to play without an overwhelming sense of frustration. The price requested for one of Hedes games is astronomical for a deeply flawed but sadly wonderfully drawn game. However even the art is no compensation for the recurring unfixed issues in each game.
This game had an added issue in so much as some of the items to be found were totally a different colour to what is in the picture as with the pink flowers that are orange in the finished product. You can see this in the screen shot I have supplied.
I wish the developers actually read these comments and took on board the amount of negative votes their games have been given by players and sorted out these issues instead of just making ANOTHER BUGGED GAME, with all the same bugs!
I got this game on sale during the steam summer sale event. The art and the idea drew me to the game but I was very disappointed with the whole experience.
Even under 1€ this is definitely a no, so it's ridiculous they even dare normally to ask more then 8€ for what you get. First of all only 1 screen. Only 25 objects to search and you are already finished. And not always the game reacts well when you have found the right object. Also false or incorrect tags are used here (for example action, 2d-fightgame) on the Steampage, so they even just are lying here right in your face !!!
1) The first and biggest concern is that this game weighs over 7 GB. Fishy.
2) The music isn't at all fitting and cannot be switched off in-game
3) Janky mouse controls for moving the image
On sale for 1 dollar and still not worth it. Just one static level that took 3 minutes to clear...?
how do they even have the audacity to make this
Disappointed in all honesty. Short, with looping music, pretty art of the said flowers and weird looking pot things.
Sorry to leave a negative review but even on on sale it's not worth the price, if anything I think it should be worth $1 at most or even free
