One of the best games to be made in its category in the past 20 years. Worth your time and i would also suggest buying the dlc 10/10
DIshonored is an old game that still holds up to competition 10 years later. It's for sure a timeless masterpiece, as all game mechanics are well balanced. The game offers you multiple ways to achieve the same objective which increases replay potential and depth of play. The levels are nuanced varied, never finding similar level design. Multiple routes need multiple playthroughs to fully explore! Weapons are interesting and varied enough to allow for a multitude of playstyles. While the story deserves an award, as it is engaging, fun, well written and excellently voice-acted. The events that start the game hook the player right away! Even late game plot twists and turns keep players on edge throughout and keep us eager to progress to learn more.
You know you're a badass when all you have to do is stab the ground beside an enemy and watch as they do the dirty work for you
A good story with great lore and characters. game play and player choice is off the charts. Def a classic that never gets oid
I played this game 4 times over in 3 days to get all the achievements... I loved every second of it!
Time for some hot and sweaty Rule 34 Granny Rags ;)
This is a light immersive sim like how System Shock and how Thief was a light immersive sim. The game is okay. The controls are solid.... I'll finish playing it. It's just not the most amazing game I've ever played. And with how much cultural buzz has been around this game, I was expecting more.
This game has aged very well. I've played it years ago... Back then I was too young to comprehend the excellence of the story, world design, atmosphere, gameplay, etc.... There are plentiful details to take in!
Oh, I will never forget the grandeur of the Boyle Mansion. It's a shame that I was there to assassinate... I could only savour about the party.
Think you'll get your own squad after what happened last night?
I like immersive sims, and so I like Dishonored

Sneaky shadow man, rats and Granny Rags
In my mind, this is the game that brought the Immersive Sim genre back. Brilliant world building, excellent gameplay and art style. I love the industrial revolution/ mysticism mashup, a true successor to Thief.
15/10 in my opinion the best stealth game
You know, immersive sim's might as well be one of my top 3 favorite game genre's of all time, alongside brawlers and frenetic first-person shooters.
The sandbox of this game is UNMATCHED and to be honest I can't even put into words how well polished it is, you'll sink in hours and hours of just mindless high chaos killing, and strategic low chaos stealth, you'll just have to play it for yourself, this shit is insane.
Story is also WONDERFUL with it's 2 endings that are affected by your game-play style, the aforementioned "high chaos" and "low chaos" are ratings given to you after completing a level, based on how much guys you've killed, and how many you've knocked out unconscious, as you would guess, the low chaos ending is the good one, be a shadow, and don't murder a single soul, or be a devil lurking in the shadows, and kill everyone on sight.
Art-style is a thing to behold as well, it's just so unique and beautiful, man, I love this shit.
Soundtrack is juuussttt barely there, but when it's there, oh it's hella damn good too, very fitting and professional stuff.
I've also sunk countless of hours into this game on a pirated version, but still bought it just for the sake of it, beat it in both endings, beat the DLC, and got almost all unlockables, quite the treat, and is STILL one of the best fucking games ever made. Buy it, high recommendation.
ive played a lot of games over the years and i first played this one back when it first came out. i never actually finished it but i remembered it as one of the great single player stories of my childhood. came back to play it and can say without a doubt one of the greatest games that has been made. if you have any semblance of interest in a good single player rpg, or have ever wanted to even think about trying a stealth game, please pick up this game. i literally got it on sale for $4 and it is easily worth more.
the art is beautiful, graphics are great (even without mods), sound design is incredible, the music is great, the story (and more broadly, worldbuilding) is incredible, the characters are interesting, and all of this is not to mention the gameplay. it is highly engaging, tactical, and gives you dozens of options on how you want to handle situations. you can choose to be stealthy and nonviolent, or go in guns blazing and clear out hoards of enemies face to face. the level design is actually unparalleled; just moving around the levels you feel like a stealth master, all the while listening in on enemy conversations that give you info and stealing loot from abandoned houses (or rich people)
basically: get this game
Played it many years ago on the PS3, I remember wanting dishonored 2 so much so I decided to come back and buy both games now that the second one is out. Loved this game, truly a creative world and I am excited to play Dishonored 2.
I wear a mask with a smile for hours at a time...
